Technical Issue Update:
For your awareness, a technical issue has been discovered and resolved involving the "Contact Us" screen on the WCLA website. When sending a message through the "Contact Us" screen there is a space for a "spam code" to be entered. Entering a spam code ensured that "spammers" would not be able to flood the site with spam e-mails. It appeared to be an optional choice, but in reality it was not. Failing to enter a spam code resulted in the message appearing to be be sent when it actually was not. Consequently some e-mails were not received by the WCLAhost website staff. This issue was actually fixed a few weeks ago after a member notified us of a lack of responses to several e-mails sent from the "Contact Us" screen. Failure to enter a spam code now results in a notice to the sender that the e-mail will not be sent if the spam code is not entered.

MEMBERS ! If you are using our website rental postings tool to list your available rentals, please make sure you edit, delete, or revise your listings to keep them current. This includes outdated comments that may reference availability dates. It's important to keep the information credible for the interested public who view the listings.

EVICTION DATABASE information. To grow our Eviction Database, please bring to a meeting or forward to PO Box 86 in Newark a copy of the warrant signed by the judge to evict tenants. Or you can FAX a copy 24 hours a day to 315-331-0834. The only way we can accept new names for the database is with copies of official warrants signed by the judge or by eviction lists published in the newspaper. Those that are published in the paper are only evictions that were performed by the Sheriff's office, which is only about 10 % of all evictions authorized by a warrant signed by a judge
